Steve Boller is an independent musician from the Hoosier State, and after chatting to us about needing a new website… decided to give it a go! Now, Steve is an accomplished musician with a loyal following for his classic style. JRR Enterprises LLC outfitted SteveBoller.com with a customized flash-enabled website, complete with an eCommerce store for cd orders and a blog for the fans. We still run occasional updates on the website on request, despite the fact that we have been out of contract for over two years. The Mens NCAA College Basketball tournament, formally known as “March Madness” due to the time of year it is held, is one of the biggest sporting events of the year. When 65 college basketball teams line up for a chance to be named “Champion” in a single-elimination bracket-based tournament… it truly is maddening! Naturally, we were thrilled to be given the assignment of designing and engineering MarchAddict.com - one of the webs first and only online-based tournament website.

On March Addict, we designed the entire template from the ground up based on the popular Joomla CMS coding system. This system allowed the owner to adjust everything on his own once we were done designing with relative ease. We encorporated a massive member system where profiles were linked from entering into the tournament, to purchasing, to talking in the user forums, to private messaging. It really was a “jack of all trades” type website!

In addition to the design, MarchAddict.com was fully coded and had a unique payment system that allowed members to sign up for free, then purchase an entry or two into the competition. When they purchased an entry, users could then unlock a secret members area where they could enter their picks for the tournament in to a bracket-style layout… all online… and track their progress against other players LIVE. Yes, we really pulled out all the stops on this one!

We created this website for a popular men’s suit store located overseas in England, who wished to remain nameless in this portfolio. We were contacted by one of the owners of the designer apparel store, and were asked to provide something elegant, yet simple. This particular design was rendered in Macromedia Flash, showcasing our skills in offering many different forms of design to suit (pardon the pun) almost any need you might have!

This design was one of our more complex, though it appears quite simple on the surface. With a “Web 2.0″ feel, we produced this website much ahead of its time. This website was completed in 2005, though the latest Web 2.0 surge didn’t occur until late-2007. At JRR Enterprises LLC., we always strive to be ahead of the curve!

Nightfire Tournament was a website and online community designed to serve the online multiplayer game named “James Bond: Nightfire.” This single player game has an online version with an extensive following. Upon receiving direction to set up the online community, Nightfire Tournament was a site that acted as an official house tournament for the players online. In effect, we had developed a new aspect of the game, outside of the game. While this website is currently offline, it shows an example of our flexibility.

For Nightfire Tournament, as well as other smaller gaming websites done in the past, we constructed the website from a template based in Adobe Photoshop, rendered it with coding in HTML and PHP, and created an integrated user system complete with an interactive user forum for improved communications.
